Reviews for Someone to Unite Us
Moviefan2k4 chapter 1 . 9/10/2016
Very nice; I can imagine Tom Holland and Chris Evans doing a scene like that in one of the films. You captured both characters perfectly; great job. )

Wonderful work. I actually really want to see this happen. Spidey is like the heart of the Marvel Universe, really. It would be great to see him grow into his potentials and play a bigger role as a hero in the future. The dialogues feel a little stiff, but it's not too much of an issue. Thanks for writing this! :)
Clara Brighet chapter 1 . 6/27/2016
Wow, I really like this. I am so eager for any sort of interaction between Spidey and the rest of the characters, to be honest... But there's something intriguing about your portrayal f Steve, and Peter was pretty much spot-on. :) Thank you for writing!

I really liked it!

After reading this, I sincerely hope Spidey gets a big role in later MCU movies, like the Avengers Infinity Wars two parter. I'm also hoping Spider-Man: Homecoming puts a little more focus on Spidey himself, rather than focusing on his relationship problems.

The original trilogy did that, and that's why Spider-Man 3 was something of a disappointment. True, the drama in his life is important to the character, but if they did what the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon has been doing, focus more on Spider-Man's development as a hero, I think that would work best for our our. Let's just hope Cap and Tony steer in that direction.

Anyway, nicely done. I feel like this truly part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Merilindir chapter 1 . 6/8/2016
This is so good! Exactly the kind of thing I want to happen after the whole Civil War mess.
Kralizec314 chapter 1 . 6/8/2016
I surely hope that Spidey does play a big role in future installments; as stated, he's new to the business, and is a little inexperienced, but with the proper guidance, and training, he can become the new leader for the Avengers, perhaps post-Infinity War. And he'd make a good leader, as he has the Captain's nobility and Stark's genius. But unlike Steve and Tony, he is rather young and optimistic, while they are old, cynical and world-weary, bogged down by their struggles.

This is a very good one-shot.

The idea and execution are good. The only criticism I can offer is that I found myself reading Steve's lines in the voice of Captain America from the cartoon, not the live-action movies - even when I tried to switch it. MCU Cap can give wordy speeches, but in normal conversation he's still pretty casual. But that's an oddly specific and not very important criticism. Overall, well done.
