Reviews for Season One |

![]() ![]() ![]() Love the banter in this one :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Ghost was never one of my favourites in Season 1 but I love this, thank you :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Loved this one too! Just the right balance between flirtation, sexual chemistry and true connection |
![]() ![]() ![]() I'm very behind with these stories but I have to say, I'm so glad you filled in this gap, as I always wondered how Kate would be ok with her Mums murder being an important part of the Nikki Heat books. |
![]() ![]() ![]() The little girl seems so happy...but one has to wonder about just how much longer Chloe's daughter will remain innocent when it comes to what happened to her parents and the whole "Nanny McDead" case, especially if the grandparents have chosen to disown their daughter. I hope Kate and Rick will remain in the periphery to lend a hand. That or the girl's grandparents are forced to confront the elephant in the room. |
![]() ![]() ![]() It's funny, looking back at how everything began for Caskett and co., but I honestly wonder about how one of Kate's objections to having Castle around is how his behaviour and reason for being at the 12th being that it will set back progress she's made in being respected as a police officer since joining the NYPD nearly a decade prior...I honestly never perceived Kate as being disrespected by her co-workers to warrant such an issue. I mean, looking back at Season One and how the initial brush strokes of Kate's relationships with Roy, Esposito and Ryan were laid down, she's treated like a sibling or trusted co-worker/subordinate in their banter amongst one another. No issues with the uniformed officers when she tasked them the usual jobs of crowd control or canvassing. And the revolving cast of suspects, victims and family of victims were more often than not respectful of Kate's rank and her role as the investigating officer of the case of the week. If Kate gets enough flack from others for Castle's presence to exacerbate the issue? The show runners didn't really seem to play that card a hell of a lot. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I like this idea it is a nice one I like your writing style I'm going to read the second season now |
![]() ![]() ![]() In response to your A/N regarding order of episodes, the ABC Castle website also has Hedge Fund Homeboys as episode 3 and Hell Hath No Fury as episode 4. Interesting how the DVD does not match this order. This is a great idea to "fill in the gaps" for each episode. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I've enjoyed your take on season one, and was glad to see you are doing season two also. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I always enjoy your take on an episode and this collection of moments was no exception. Thank you for adding another layer to such well known stories. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Great chapters! I love all the emotions, especially in this one :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Regret and betrayal beckons of pain. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Little Girl and Castle aren't the only ones a little lost here. What did I miss? Did Castle have an opportunity for Kate that he just lost? |
![]() ![]() ![]() If she'll have him. And there in lies the key ... to her heart ... to them ...to forever. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Falling in love again Never wanted to What am I to do? Can't help it So them. They can't help themselves, becoming Caskett before our eyes. (sigh) ;) |
