Nice story so far! Also when you say you're planning to make Shinji a better person, how nice are we talking here exactly. Just curious to know if you'll plan take him somewhat tolerable, or if he's still going to end up being they guy that I'm sure most people hate.

I'm absolutely loving your fic, hopefully you'll update again soon, I can't wait to get to the Grail War and see EMIYA's reaction to all the differences in this particular timeline! Though I must regretfully admit, there's two things I have not liked the development of:

First it's how Shirou just went and told Rin about his magecraft; just because she is the Second Owner, it doesn't mean he is automatically her slave, especially after she had already told him it was fine and that she was technically just following the 'protocol' with her initial attitud; sorry, but I feel as if that part was poorly executed, it's as if you just wanted an excuse to bring them closer sooner than anything else. If you wanted for her to find out about him being capable of creating jewels, you could have just made it so she accidentally dropped in unnanounced in their house (once they're friends, preferably after a timeskip and a few weeks/months before the start of the War) and stumbled upon him in his shed/workshop. It would be the most realistic situation and if developed correctly, could help strenghten the relatioship/alliance of their families.

The second is the Sword himself, outside of his magecraft training, he is no different than canon!Shirou; I mean, he was taught by old man Acht himself, THAT in itself along with Kiritsugu's life story & request for Shirou to not end up broken like him should of made even our naive-idiot-Incarnation to THINK things through before jumping head first into ANYTHING. In fact, his personality should resemble more that of Miyuverse!Shirou or even a bit that of EMIYA himself. He not only has been raised alongside his childish older sister (and latter Taiga AGAIN), but he has also been influenced by the constant presence of the mature-and-strict Sella and the lazy-but-focused-when-necessary Liz; maybe is not much, but even seemingly unnoticeable little things like this can make the biggest of changes on someone's personality.

It's not my intention to offend you, but I felt it was necessary to point this out. Hopefully this will actually help you to write an even better 5th chapter instead of discouraging you from writing... OTL

Talking about the next chapter, will we be seeing a timeskip soon? I'm curious to see the Fifth Holy Grail War with fourteen Servants and Masters, I wonder: Will the Fuyuki canon Masters be banded together against the 'extras'? Will EMIYA's anonimity be blown over as soon as Illya and Shirou see him? Remember, his younger self will have his hair totally white by the time he appears, the only reason he isn't taned is because his sister stopped the process with her magecraft, that only leaves his eyes... hopefully Illya will agree with me and give him heterochromia (one eye changes to steel/silver while the other remains it's original golden color)! He'd look so cool! *cough* I mean, that way, he can't negate anything! The proof is irrefutable! Though I fear for his none existent virginity if Rin is around to hear that revelation...

Also! Did Shirou get Kiritsugu's gun and Emiya crest? It'll be awesome if he had the skills to be named Second Magus Killer, even if he didn't actually like to use them unless as a last resort. I can already imagine Archer's dumbfounded face! *snickers* Poor Counter Guardian, he only wanted to kill his younger self and almost got an Origin Bullet To The Face for his efforts *snort* I KNOW that he CAN'T get the crest for not being blood related to Kerry and for the circuits being cursed, but shouldn't Avalon, even if it isn't at it's full power without Arturia present, be capable of helping the process along? I really want Archer to get a heart attack when he finally comes to this especific timeline, and what better than meeting a full Magus as his younger self! Zelretch would be waiting with the popcorn ready for the show XD (being serious though, the main reason is that he should have another weapon, a material one other than his body's strenght, in the event he can't use his tracing for whatever reasons; I think that'd be something that Kiritsugu would have made sure stuck with him, after all, most Magi normally rely too much on their magecraft alone)

Huh... it'd be interesting to see a redeemed Shinji, hopefully with Shirou's influence he will not only be a better person overall, but also be a better brother to Sakura. And speaking of Sakura, did she manage to meet (be saved of the bullies by) Whitey before he went to live with the Einzberns, or will the Sword get a harder time breaking the walls she has erected over the years to protect herself by not having anyone else to give her hope after Kariya died? I'm pretty fond of her (in fact, I like her better than Rin) so the fake janitor (is it still going to be his nickname? whatever) better fix her soon! It won't do if they are part of the same team for the fights and act as mere acquaintances when the time comes! orz

About the teams! Will the original cast for Fate/Stay Night be banded together? Will there be some changes? More especifically, the Caster and Assassin situation. If Medea gets a better Master, let's say Luvia, then someone new would need to summon Assassin before Zouken tries to. If you decide to include Miyu, she could be the final Master needed for the Fuyuki Team (though maybe she'd be better off with Caster, Medea Lily, than with Assassin; While Luvia would either fit perfectly with, say, Semiramis, or hate her guts...).

It'd be interesting if you go with blitz* idea and make her Shirou's blood related sister! Or even, maybe, add a bit of drama(?) and make Shirou actually come from a Magus Family that died in the fire (Muramasa roots! The perfect excuse for MANY things!), that was allied with Miyu's family and them both being actually betrothed! THAT would make for some rather funny situations, at least for the readers... I can hear hear all of his friends/family choking at that little piece of info *smiles innocently*

Giuseppe* made me wonder too; will Illya be getting Ruby? And if Miyu appears, will she get Saphire? Though I must admit... I'm not really interested about seeing the class cards in the middle of the War, maybe after? If you do add them at all, that is.

BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY OF ALL... is Shirou's cooking better or worse than his canon self's? With Sella around it begs to question if he was allowed as much as he actually wanted in the kitchen, or if he surpasses said canon self's skills and is almost as good as EMIYA by having actual 'teachers' and with a bigger repertorie of skills/foreign recipes. A Shirou that doesn't know how to cook foods worthy of kings or isn't obsessed over his precious kitchen is NOT Shirou! LOL

PS: English isn't my first language so my spelling & grammar aren't the best, my vocabulary is also pretty small thus I repeat myself A LOT, so... I apologize for this monster of a review orz

A redeemable Shinji...what a weird concept. It'll feel really strange, not hating his guts. And the Ainsworth family is a part of this story, which means the main villains have already been revealed! Also, will Miyu be a part of the story too?

The concept itself is quite unique. The Einzbern family being redeemed like this isn't something you see in a lot of F/SN fics, but it seems like you've pulled it off well here. I also like the idea of Illya actually looking older in this world, would be kinda weird otherwise.
