Sequel. PLEASE.

Are you perhaps following the light novels?

Those are really interesting, aren't they? Even though Izaya left Ikebukuro, his influence still lingers in the city and he really made an impact on the characters as he was still brought up quite often. The most interesting part was Shizuo contemplates what would happen if he and Izaya got along. It really makes you wonder what would happen if they met again.

As for Izaya, he is alive but disabled, now requiring a wheel chair to go around. He accepted his defeat and is traumatized. He can still recover the ability to walk but he refuses to do anything about it because of psychological reasons. Its really hard to tell if Izaya would ever return to the current DRRR storyline because he has his own series now where the author now gives Izaya the freedom to the as he pleases now that Shizuo is out of the equation.

I don't want to imagine how Shizuo will feel when he realizes now he'll never get to say anything to Izaya ever again. That all the things between them will remain as unfinished as they always were. That he lost his chance, despite Celty's numerous offers, to talk to Izaya for the last time.

It breaks my heart and brings tears to my eyes all over again just thinking about it.

My heart will throb and my eyes will continue to sting every time I think of your story, but I'd still love it if you could write a sequel and be so kind as to share it with us readers.

and you just opened a new wound on my fragile heart...
I just can't BELIEVE Narita-sensei would just end the novel like that!
Izaya disappeared from ikebukuro, leaving shizuo and EVERYONE ELSE?!
I'm a little bit dissapointed...

anyway, I'm looking forward the sequel! :)
