Nice! I love that you hit on all the bits that TAB did not about his drug use. Mycroft made it seem like being locked up was the why of it but knowing you are going to your death seemed a better reason to me. I hate drug use but it is a fact of life that even brilliant people can get caught up in stupid stuff. I was sort of hoping Sherlock would continue to abstain but it seems they are making it a bigger part of the story line and I like your reasoning better than some others. Well written and delightful in a heavy sort of way. Keep writing.

It just bugs me that he's still high. I don't think Molly would believe his words let alone let him fuck her without a word in his state, considering that the last time she saw him high she slapped him three times. Molly may be in love with him, but she's a smart girl and she's been hurt. I just really wished that you'd waited until he was sober. Plus the fact that he'd practically collapsed onto the sofa before they fucked...that was pretty dangerous for him so I couldn't really enjoy it. And I think Molly would have pointed that out! Her need for him to be all right would override her libido because she loves him.
