This was a really great, smart story. I think Erik's nerves and the atmosphere of the bar create a quiet intensity, even when the plot still seems benign, that comes out full force when Charles realizes what's been done to him and Erik realizes what could've happened. I love the ending, with how bothered Erik is at seeing Charles, another mutant, unable to use his powers and defend himself, just as Erik was once unable to, and how scared he is at the possibility of losing Charles. They tie into his personality in such big yet subtle ways. Really wonderful work.

Oh God... Please tell me this isn't complete! I need more! This was so... not cute because... well... but at the same time, it was adorable and I need more!

Absolutely adored this. Loved Erik's realization and esp the little gesture of him putting Charles' fingers to his head. That looked ridiculously cute in my head. :)

It's an unfortunate truth how often those drugs are used. I actually wouldn't be surprised if they had that effect on a Telepath though, since some do mess with brain chemistry. Great story! I have a thing for angst apparently . . .

Oh wow, this is niiicee. I really really like this, it's quite the interesting notion. I would have liked if Charles had had indeed a sort of experience with that drug.
But gosh! I can't wait to see what will happen next :D Is Erik going to take care of him? or go for revenge? I REALLY hope it's not revenge but it honestly wouldn't surprise me if it was.

I really liked the intensity of the part were Erik is trying to make Charles defend himself, quite strong I might say.
