I just-what-how?

This is seriously one of the most beautifully written and sincere and simple character studies I've ever read. Certainly of all the OUAT fanfic I've read to date, but on the whole, out of many "established" literature I've read as well. Her journey and relationship with the baths and music is such a unique one, but one I could see being very true to her character, and Emma's observance of it so intimate and vital. I think, should the writers get It togeher and turn the flailing ship that is OUAT around, this would a manifesto to defining their relationship. Not all (highly enjoyable and adorable fluff), and not all (equally enjoyable and rousing) passion, but a kind of dynamic, intregal understanding. Where pain is never lost, just embraced in pieces, and personalities remain true. So again, I say, hell of a job well done.

Great story. I especially love the furious rocker chick section. This captures for me the essence of why I think these two are perfect for each other but could also go off the rails at any point. Regina's rage that is so over the top but yet barely covers up how much she feels everything vs. Emma's more laid back nonchalance that actually does a very good job of covering up her to be wanted by someone. As usual, brilliant. Thanks for the story.
