This is so interesting. Obi-Wan's guilt is such a huge topic, and this brings out so many facets to it. I could probably talk about it for hours. There are so many parallels you bring out here, not just the obvious with Xanatos, but also the way Obi-Wan tried to be like a father to Anakin the way Qui-Gon was to him, but in the end it was Obi-Wan who "killed" his son. Like he's somehow reversing the pattern or it's all folding in around him. If that makes any sense...
