this was so tense and amazing to read! god, poor sammy.

Ahhhh...after finishing your most recent work, I came back to peruse the rest of your list which I haven't visited in a LONG time, and found this gem! OMG...one of my favorite guilty pleasure scenarios - Sammy paying the price for Dean's mistakes and Dean being made to watch. And this one had the added bonus of young Sammy going COMPLETELY badass and saving BOTH of them from what was about to happen. His breakdown shortly later in the car was perfect with the hysteria that had been held in check during the ordeal all coming out. (And yes, I did already see that there is a sequel to this one!)

I feel so bad for Dean and Sam...liked the ending a lot.

I'm always so excited to see that you've posted something, I always enjoy your stories immensely! Though I usually stray away from noncon stories, I knew that this one would be worth it, and I was not disappointed. The car scene was absolutely brilliant, and I love that Sam is more than capable of taking care of himself. Great job, thank you for sharing!

Whoa! That was amazing. :-) Go Sammy! Oddly enough, I think my favorite part was the end, when Sam mentions how everyone underestimates him, and how John tells him that's his greatest strength. I don't know why, but that just really stood out to me. It's definitely something I can imagine John saying. Lol. Anyway, great little story. I loved it.

Powerful and hard-hitting, and loved how you had Sammy managing to save the day as Dean was certainly unable to with his concussion. And could totally believe Samm's meltdown in the car, it was too close a call for both of them. Great writing as always
