I love it! Justice!

Brilliant! I love that Harry used Voldemort to take out his own Death Eaters. I think one reviewer below missed what really happened in the end, though. Voldemort himself had drunk the potion and was gradually forgetting himself throughout the last scene. And it doesn't just make people forget his name; it erased all memory of him from even his most loyal followers. So eventually Voldemort himself would have complete amnesia like Lockhart. I do think that Harry should have held off to make sure it worked, and I worry what forgetting Voldemort would do to Harry, since he was such a big part of Harry's life.

How is it CURSING him to give him, essentially, permanent invisibility? Just because no one remembers him doesn't mean the Imperius doesn't work on them. Or other spells.

In Lovecraftian terms:
"They bend the forest and crush the city, yet may not forest or city behold the hand that smites."

And because no one remembers, Voldemort will have about a generation to assassinate people who are unfriendly to his ideals, build up those friendly to his ideals, and gather assets for his next rise. Because, on account of no one remembering him, the potion will wear off in a generation, and he'll be able to rise again under a new identity. He'll not be able to collect followers over the age of the Great Dosing, but whatever - a roster full of children didn't stop Dumbledore's Army.

I suppose that you could argue that, on account of the potion of oblivion, Voldemort won't remember himself, much less his ideals, and will be harmless. However, he's still an immortal psychopath. One who will discover he can act with impunity, killing and torturing his way across Europe with absolutely no one remembering him on account of that fabulous potion Harry gave everyone. Sure, he can't act out in the open, because that would attract Aurors... provided, of course, he never exploits the 10-minute cooldown to perform repeated hit-and-runs on the same target ("Oh hi there, did you see the face of that fellow who attacked us a few minutes ago?" "I'm afraid not. Avada Kedavra."), or the 48-hour cooldown to happily commit crime sprees every two days with no repercussions whatsoever.

The entire premise of this being a good thing rests upon Voldemort being too stupid to think through the advantages of his newfound plight and/or Voldemort running his entire act for attention.

But I sure hope he never figures out how to weasel his way into the Ministry and look up lists of Muggleborn children, because, if he does, Harry has neatly ensured that the mystery of the Muggleborn Massacres will remain unsolved forever.

Someone in the reviews said to continue this, and I was thinking that there would be no reason to do so.

But... what if ol' Voldie didn't give up? There are a lot of ways an immortal unnamed person can rule the world. Nobody would need to know who the king is, just that there is one. Harry seems to be at least as powerful as Voldie, but if he he targets Harry's family, Harry might regret leaving him alive. Except, even Harry wouldn't remember who he is.
