tops to you man, this is so well executed! the single most sturdiest romance fic I have seen. in any fandom.

but, I hope to at least give some criticism, so uh; the power balance is off between Ruby and Pyrrha. not to say that its awfully important to a romance, and in a normal situation it would be fine, but in a fandom like rwby combat strength is considered fundamental to every characters identity, and is sure to leave some readers to drop out of the "wow this is so good" mindset that they have been in since the beginning.

Ruby not only doesn't have the raw strength to overpower Pyrrhas semblance, but adding a dust that's only role is to counter her is too jarring for the "suspension of disbelief" and breaks the immersion.

Even if you think that is an acceptable loss for the sake of ease of writing, the tournament also should have been different, with Pyrrha easily beating penny, true she doesn't have to die now that emerald isn't making it such a high stakes fight, there is still no physical way penny can touch Pyrrha if she wants to win at all.

so it would have ended with Pyrrha and Ruby fighting again in the finals, and this time she would have no surprises, and Pyrrha could outright destroy all of Ruby's ammunition just as the match starts, not only exploding on her person taking a huge chunk of aura(or all of it, if ruby was planning on using a lot of dust) and leaving her with no ranged ability.

Or, if Pyrrha had to, she could outright destroy Crescent Rose too.

this is in no way me bashing your fic, I was invested in it enough to make this review in the first place, the only things I can point to that made me take a break from reading this master piece at all is the above points. gonna be heading out to read the next book in the series now. nice work!

In all seriousness, this story was fantastic. My only suggestion would be to give it a once over, and correct the typos that pop up occasionally.

I have relatively low standards when I read what I presume to be largely smut rated M fictions. No smut, but I was still pleasantly surprised. This was actually really good. I'm usually not into yuri but I AM a massive Dragonslayer shipper so that was an unexpected gift. The story was well written, the characters were fleshed out, the pick up advice was accurate and entertaining. Well fucking done.

From the title, I expected another trashy harem story, or a poorly written, emotionally lacking story, or at best a simply written, generic good ending story. But I did NOT see this story coming. Poignant and profound, cleverly and realistically written, true to character- and then some- but I think what I loved most was learning how relationships are really built, and why they really last. Like your Jaune, I’ve missed out on the love of my life, a like-minded girl, due to some strong and mostly unfounded doubts. Instead of being everything I wasn’t, she brought out everything I could be. Reading your story, I think I’ve got some unfinished business to address, for better or worse. Thank you for the push.

Holy shit its not everyday I read an actually good story on this site. Good fucking job! That climax damn made me cry, with "Runaway" playing in the background? Double hit right in the feels. Keep up the excellent work dude! I downloaded this story so long ago and only have read it now, man what a regret that was. This is going in my favourites no doubt about it.
