I find it funny how Bellamy is so mad that Clarke didn’t let anyone know she is alive when it is partly his fault that she had to pretend to be dead anyway. I will never understand how both in the show and in this story Bellamy gets upset with Clarke for leaving when he murdered 300 people while they were sleeping and started the events that lead to Lexa’s death. If anyone has a right to be angry here it is Clarke because even after she left she was doing what was best for her people and I for one can understand why she would leave. Yes Bellamy may have helped her pull
the lever but it was her idea and she shot Dante and let the missile hit TonDC. It makes sense that she would need to get away for a while especially since she always put everyone else’s needs before her own.

This story was incredible! I loved that you had Murphy be such a big part of this story, and that Clarke and him mended fences. Also the last scene of this story had me almost in tears because it was so brilliantly written and I am so glad that Jasper was the one to congratulate bell and Clarke. I hope you wrote more bellarke stories to get me through the hiatus.

Speaking as a teacher of fiction writing and literature in general, I think the pace and tone here were very well chosen given the context. It didn't feel too slow at all.
