Ah I can’t believe it is over and complete! It was a great way to end the story. I like that there are still things for both brothers to grow at, but yet seeing how far they have come they truly have both grown a lot. I’ll definitely miss this story and will have to come back and reread.

forst I am angry at sirius, i mean whatever his reason but he is choose run away and abondened Regulus. but then I kinda pity him, this is just first chapter but so sad.

Bit late to this but. Oh my god! I believe I started reading this two years ago. It's crazy to think how much of a part of my life it's been. I'll think things like 'thats reminds me of sirius/regulus from tale of two brothers' because the characters are so iconic, but duh. Okay on to the overkill of compliments, but this is my last chance to let it out so bare with, it's going to be a lot. So your writing is obviously incredible. The character depth, development and realistic flaws are top notch. The relationship between the brothers is so intriguing and complex and heartwarming. Dialogue and humour is just brilliant. This is a bit random but I love the relaxing way you set scenes. The plot is original and interesting. There's a scene and ten more for every emotion. God this shit is good. You really have created something incredible, I hope you know that. There can't be any other fanfic I actively go back and re-read scenes of. In fact calling it fanfic doesn't do it justice. Am I going too far? No! Thank you for sharing your talent with us and not giving up all this time and I hope you enjoyed writing it as much as we enjoyed reading it :) can't wait for the sequel

I read this chapter 5 times by now and I am now rereading the entire thing. Don't know if that's healthy but I do know that I absolutely love this story. Really my love for it could not be understated. I am very thrilled about the sequel! Xxx

I can't believe this is finished. I started reading this about two or three years ago and it's been my favourite Harry Potter story ever since. And I don't think that's ever going to change. I used to leave reviews as a guest called Sarah and then I remembered I had this account so now I'll always leave reviews from here.

The ending was satisfying yet it left room for a sequel (it's announcement literally made my day). I loved all the ups and downs in Sirius and Regulus' relationship and how they worked on it. I also really liked when Regulus told Sirius that he's always been more of a father to him than his parents ever were. I get that the transition form brother to parent was hard for them both, so I'm glad they ended on good terms.

I really appreciate all the time and effort it took you to write this masterpiece. I wish this would get published so I could own a physical copy and put it next to the Harry Potter books. You're such a talented writer; if you ever publish a book or something on another site please let me know 'cause I'd be eager to read anything written by you.

I'm really looking forward to reading the sequel and all the one shots set in this universe. I want to know what will happen with Voldemort and the Death Eaters; and will Sirius ever let Regulus stay at Hogwarts full time or not? And if he did, how would the Slytherins treat him? He is usually with Sirius and Sirius' friends so I sometimes forget that he doesn't have any friends himself and he's not allowed to talk to the person he once considered a friend. Maybe he'll get closer to Maeve?
I am also interested in James and Reg's relationship; will they learn to tolerate each other or will they always be at each other's throat? I'm unsure whether I want them to get on well or not because I love when they argue but it would also be nice to see James being a little protective of Reg. But Reg's snarky comments are the best and he gives them to James the most. I'm sure I'll be satisfied with whatever you choose to write though.

Thank you again for sharing this story. It is wonderful and everything about it -the descriptions, the characters, the dialogues, etc- is so well written that I was always left with a pleasant feeling after reading each chapter.

I almost rioted! I saw “the end” and my heart just...stopped. So glad there will be a sequel!

Your writing is beautiful. It’s the little things. The way you’re able to capture emotions and realism. The part where Sirius was okay with saying swear words but wasn’t okay with Regulus saying them summed up the way I feel about my own younger siblings. I was in shock you were able to put something in your story that is so minuscule, but so relatable and real. There are so many more sprinkled in there, but I don’t think I have enough time to name them all!

I’ve enjoyed reading this so much! The character development was slow, but wonderfully done. And so was your own development. I went back to the beginning and I can see an obvious improvement. Not to say your writing was ever bad! It’s always been a joy to read. It’s just that I can tell you’ve written for awhile and you’ve been getting better.

Overall, it’s a beautiful piece. Can’t wait to read more from you!

What a wonderful end to this chapter in their lives! Thanks for all the hard work you put into this lovely story to bring enjoyment to all of us. I'm definitely curious to see how Regulus and James make up. I would think it would be kind of hard for Regulus to stay enemies with someone who voluntarily offered their blood for a potion that he needed. Looking forward to whatever you have planned next for these two.
