I started reading this and couldn’t stop. This was hilarious and I could see the reveal of their marriage happening just this way. I heard their voices loud and clear. I kept waiting for Francine to call them Archie and Edith or Jeannie and Tony too. I was wondering if the mouse was named Gus and Amanda had actually borrowed the mouse from Cinderella to help make her wedding dress or it was one of the Rats of NIMH because they were absolutely crazy thinking they could that marriage a secret. The image of Lee’s over the top reaction to that mouse will forever remain with me. Thanks for this fun read and distraction.

Lee was in love with Amanda in "The Wrong Way Home." Oh yeah, that's believable and, clearly visible on his face in the gymnasium, it was self-sacrificing love, with no ego, no resentment or abandonment involved, just what's best for her.

Sitting at the kitchen table, the foursome begins to unravel the many tangled webs of secrets kept concealed yet already revealed. The adults working together to safeguard Phillip and Jamie will bring a measure of calm assurance to all. Now for the reference that my dense mind just doesn't seem capable of unlocking its meaning here: "Third time lucky."

Any bets on how long before that mouse is back in the Q Bureau? Canadian National Park Rangers tell stories of tagging and releasing a nuisance wild animal (from pikas to bears) hundreds of miles away; then, the race is on for who gets back first! Amanda set Mickey free (then again, it might be Minnie) mere inches from the front entrance. Lee won't be safe until they get a good mouser to take care of rodent trespassers and they ought to look into a white noise machine - they've developed a problem with eavesdroppers, too. No wonder intelligence operatives put in a lot of overtime!

Loved your stories! I have read a lot of your stories, but I think I didn't review a lot. They are all great and I hope you keep writing for Scarecrow and Mrs King!

This story is awesome from the first to the last chapter. I laughed tears and was more then once on the edge of my seat. Pretty clever outlined storytelling. Enjoyed it very much.
