The family atmosphere and interaction, the kindness, something inevitably being destroyed (even if it was just a game), Cana and Lucy being lowkey badasses, calm cool and collected Freed actually being a giant dork... yes. This is what I love.

ffn wouldn't let me copy the phrase but i gotta say my favorite line was probably the passage where gajeel asks the guild if anyone cared if freed grew his hair back and the answer was a resounding 'sure, whatever' because just. there you go. fairy tail democracy in a nutshell. this was the perfect blend of legitimate funny anecdote and actual srs bsnss Post-Fantasia Life Re-Evaluation stuff and you captured everyone's voices perfectly, i could hear all the little inflections, it was great
