This will make good alternatives story if ash keep the egg. Look those other episode that involved ash recieved the eggs, he took care of them and raised it well.

You know. I always kind of wanted Ash to raise Togepi. He did find the egg after all after going through heck and back. It was destiny and the others interfered.

Hey, think you can write a story that's a spin-off of this one? You know, one that shows all of Ash's escapades in taking care of Togepi from the egg stage, and the adventures they have AFTER he hatches? Maybe have Charizard turn Misty and Brock extra crispy on several occasions.

To be honest it always bothered me how they simply stole the egg from Ash and he never complained, especially due to the fact that during Johto when he got the Phanphy Egg they never said anything and also didn't complain the entire time before he hatched.

Really good. I never really liked the fact that Misty got Togepi because she never did anything to help raise the egg. Talk about stealing another person's reward for all their hard work.
