Super awesome story!

This is so good!
It's so intense and exciting!
And there's such a great plot that's just expanding and getting more and more seemingly irrelevant people involved!
This is just like Durarara!
And when you write about Shizuo and Izaya, they are so adorable!
And Izaya's reactions to Shizuo are so adorable and just make me grin!
Ooooooo and there is so much suspense!
This is so amazing and I absolutely love it so much!

I think I can help you solve the mystery of why that gang got 'sucked up' by the Awakusu-kai...

From what I have understood, gangs works as sort of a recruitment base for the Yakuza. So people who are in a gang, and that manages to prove themselves worthy, will get the honor of being accepted into the Yakuza.

The fact that the whole gang got upgraded to Yakuza is a bit weird, but I guess it is possible that all the members was really skilled, or that they had some very powerful conections inside the Awakusu-kai.

I have to ask you... Which books would be on Izaya's top ten list? *Grins* I want those kind of books myself, but I absolutly suck at googeling anything. *Sighs wistfully*

First I have to say...I keep faving your story over and over -just- in case I misremembered I already did it...5 times. Lol I really love it!

Secondly... To be fair, bodylanguage isn't a reliable methode to disconcern lies either, as such. A manipulator as good as Izaya is can fake that as well. It's the micro expressions he would need to look out for. Tho, admittingly, he may not have been AS good at it at this age, it does require some years to perfectionize. But if he is the kind whom can lie so he believes it himself, then there will not be even microexpressions to reveal it, as he really do believe in the lie...at least the second he tells it, even if he knows it is a lie five seconds later. Self-protective lies are most common in this type, as in, hiding his feelings. Although I guess by the time he gets there, Shizuo may know him well enough to know the idiocyncrasies that makes him lie in the first place, and can deduce the lie by pure logic. Lol

I get very Izaya vibes from your OC...I really hope you don't intend to change Izaya's personality (too much at the very least) and make her take over his role. Izaya is by far his best in his role as a chaotic evil force. *Chuckles* Even if his motives may be more or less neutral chaotic...

The way you write it, they suddently reminds me of Caramon and Raistlin now. Lol

Isn't the Dragon Zombies Izaya's personal bodyguards in the series? Did they exist before that and he took them over, or were they created by him?

Fyi; You are absolutly amazing in writing Izaya compared to most autors out there. While some of his actions and thoughts are hard to predict... you are amazingly good at keeping him in-character! *Grins*

Tho one can only speculate on how he would react if someone called him a monster. He does lie to himself now and then...potentially often...and if he truly believe he is not one, he would never react in anger, only in a superior condecending way. But who knows for sure what he does believe in... maybe he hates Shizuo because he recognizes his superiorety over humans... oh, I have a wonderful article you should read that has some good theories.

This fic is awesome! I love Durarara for its craziness and surprisingly insightful analyses of its characters. I feel its really more about the characters than following a pre-thought out plot line. Your story is much like the manga/anime and i like that. Hope to see more updates in the near future :)
