Admittedly Shinichi has a point in that what he's doing isn't exactly miracle work when you consider that he's hooking up people who either have liked each other for a /long/ time reciprocally, just unknowingly, or have even already been dating together for awhile. The chances of rejection were pretty slim. I feel a bit sorry for Shinichi that he didn't get the romantic rooftop confession he was dreaming of, but seven years of obliviousness kind of throws that out of the water, he'll have to settle with that embarrassing stuttered confession. I absolutely loved Kaito's line about how he's actually legitimately worried about how oblivious Shinichi was to Kaito's feelings which were pretty fucking obvious. Just, that line was really funny in my opinion. Thanks for writing, honestly, you've got some of the best DC/MK fics I've read! |
