Very, VERY good. I have been enjoying this immensely, and I want to immediately start reading the next installment... but I suppose I should give a little feedback first. So:
I thank you for not leaving Morgana in the Sarrum's clutches. She may be irredeemable, but I don't believe anyone deserves that kind of punishment. I would have been very upset with Merlin if he had left her there.
I love BAMF!Merlin, and I think the banter between the characters is spot-on.
Your grammar and spelling are nearly impeccable. There have been a few times you've slipped into present tense, but that's about it.
Now, I'm super excited to read the Gwaine reveal, and can wait no longer. I've done my reviewer duty, so... goodbye for now!

I think Gwaine is no friend to Merlin. How dare he spy on Merlin? Just because he wants to know Merlin’s secrets does not mean he’s entitled to know them and spying on Merlin just to satisfy his curiosity is unacceptable.

If he was truly Merlin’s friend, he would allow Merlin to tell him in his own time and even then, only if Merlin chose to do so.

I do hate the common refrain of that Arthur is Merlin's destiny; he's not. Merlin and Arthur are destined to bring magic back and establish Albion.

Hmm, Merlin doesn't ever feel 'weak' from the use of magic and it's been implied that there are in fact no limits on how he could use magic; the only limit is he himself, what he is prepared to do. That's why they describe him as being magic itself etc.

Complex, entertaining story

I have just finished reading this story and am about to embark on the second. I have loved every word, and laughed at many of the stories, Merlin as a heram girl, ha ha ha ha. Well Done!

I loved this story! It was amazing! The only reason i didn’t review before was because it was already finished and you probably wont have noticed the review. To be honest, I always believed Morgana tainted Aithusa, bounded him to herself, but I liked this interception too. I personally don’t like romance for Merlin, but some of the little scenes was enjoyable, especially the ones with Mirian. xD Oh, and I was neutral about Blaise, but now I don’t like him. Reading this made me remember the show, and I realized once again how much of a good heart merlin has. I wouldn’t have saved Morgana from the well, or dunno, in other instances when Merlin does. I believe she deserves death and everything she suffered. She was evil... though, this doesn’t mean I didn’t love her. I loved her character, I always love the villains and the evil ones, but I also wanted her dead in a sense. And know, I’m not a big fan of Blaise too, but my opinion is biased. I only started to dislike him for what he told Merlin in this chapter. Anyone with a compassionate heart as his, is Emrys. I don’t believe Mordred could ever be. He never shied from killing, even when he was a child... And his betrayal after all Arthur did for him, even giving Kana or whatever her name was, a second chance... Another thing I would have done differently if I was Merlin... I guess, we’re gonna see Mordred in this story one was or another? I can’t wait too see how you’ll change things. Even though i would have preferred Morgana dead, I loved what you did with her. The Leshy and all. Oh, and the dnji! I loved him. I want soo more of the dnjii. And maybe Merlin taking a few lessons from Druids about healing magic and then try to heal Aithusa. And I hope she doesn’t go back to Morgana and develops a good relationship/friendship with Merlin. I would love to see them bonding! Now, if you excuse me, I have the sequel to binge-read! xD

So I'm rereading from the beginning (shut up I can't sleep) and I can't help but laugh at you feeling the need to justify OCs knowing how many there are now and how many are vital to the plot. Anyways, I can also see that the writing quality has improved.
