I am liking this. Terry is a a great character and it's nice to see things from his perspective. Dialogue is true to the characters and as someone else already said, I could see this as a storyline from the first season. Hoping that you get a chance to continue.

I liked the back and forth here and all the pressures of the past, plus losing Bernadette, nicely explain the weary present day Terry, which came over well, with the bills and the regrets and the image of himself as 'fucking damaged'. 'Family sticks together' is a hell of a burden to carry, when that family is the Donovans!

I thought there was a really good flavour of Mickey here - both the way he acts and that Terry sees through it, but is still persuaded by him. The point about Terry recognizing something of Mickey's character in Ray and 'no matter how much he tells me he ain't gonna turn into our old man, how he's gonna be something better, bigger. But honestly, that thought fucking frightens me even more.' is terrific.

Wonderful to see some Ray Donovan fan fiction stories. I like the way you are taking an episode and putting your own spin on the back story. I can see your version actually happening in support of the current tv episode. Please continue, can't get enough of Ray Donovan!
