Good chapter again, you said in the review answers that some monsters would prove to be an even match if not better match for some hunters, with some of them probably being able to take down several hunters. I have a feeling these mosnters would be the Boss monsters mainly, such as Sans, Undyne, Asgore and Gaster. I kinda have an idea on how Undyne and Asgore will fight in this but Gaster is a complete unknown and Sans is a plain mystery. Now I know we've all probably seen Sans fight, it's just that in the game he has the ability to poison you and ignore you're in invincibility frames. Basically what I'm asking is does he have an ability similar to this in this story, eg, is he able to ignore anyone's aura and also poison it if he wishes? This would obviously make him one of the monsters who could defeat hunters with great ease(hundreds maybe? Maybe he wouldn't even be defeated ever) but it also is following what the actual game does. So could you lease answer this in the review answers in the next chapter and please release it ASAP!

Interesting chapter and dialogue between Chara, Ruby and Sans. I feel like you've not made Papyrus as innocent and naive as he should be, don't get me wrong, there's bits you've done great, it's just in the game he's always smiling(unless you get a bad neutral ending you monster) and his dialogue shows how naive he is, I mean he literally doesn't believe that anyone can be bad, and even in his death he smiles. And Sans does whatever he can to make him happy - he hides the fact that his only friends have died, he reassures him on everything and he even dresses up as Santa to give him gifts. It just seems that Papyrus isn't as naive as he should be. Again, I'm not saying I hate the story, on the contrary actually. I love this story and see a lot of potential in it, I'm just pointing out some things that don't seem like canon Undertale because I know the Undertale side is following what happened in the game and what the characters were like for the most part.

Great chapter, just picked up reading this again. I noticed that you paid attention to how Sans' mouth doesn't move even though he yawned. Will this be similar to how Sans has(not literally) put on a mask to hide his true emotions and is just always smiling to cover up his bottomless depression? So is he able to actually open his mouth and move it like Papyrus and Gaster and its just his depression that causes him not to or is it just his body as a character in this story that means he can't open his mouth?

Good chapter, I like the relationship between Chara and Ruby, with Chara teasing Ruby on certain things and also plotting to take over her body at the same time. Btw just saying, loved the ending with Ruby fainting. I loved the Papyrus interactions with Ruby and that Ruby is dreading the fight with him, fortunately for her, in the game if Papyrus defeats you he doesn't even kill you, so I suppose if Papyrus depleted Ruby's aura then he would just take her to his garage or 'guest house' as he calls it. It's interesting that Sans is showing guilt for what he was thinking about doing to Ruby and it parallels in the game as he shows some kind of guilt or feelings of failure in the true pacifist ending with his dialogue. I also wanted to say thanks for taking the time to answer our questions(mine included) from PM's and reviews. Anyway, my ramblings done for this chapter, again, great chapter, I can't wait for the next one to come out!

Hey, even if it took awhile, it's still a good chapter. Only part I wasn't a huge fan of was the jumping around points in time. Still, reading through these scenes filled in my memories of Undertale very well.

Hah! Ruby's going to be rather put out when Papyrus starts talking about dating after that little "revelation." Thanks for the chapter!

the tile puzzles rules are mouthful but sans summed it up well. You could say he gave her the bore bones of it.
