I barely starter this story today and I am already caught up. This is such a great read. Can’t wait for the next chapter I am hooked.

Omg, an update, so happy! Omg, Amy! I hope you and Andy survive and show up at Blackburn okay! Can't wait to see Carol learn how to use a gun...also want Daryl to give Sofia a pocket knife, perhaps not for killing Walkers but for other reasons. Like cutting rope?! Oh, what about Merle?! Will he be getting out soon? Via breaking out or being let go early?! (kind of scared to see how he'll react to Carol and Sophia!) what about Ed, he gonna be showing up sometime in the future...that is if they are still going to join team family! (In all honestly the only reason i want Ed to be alive and an asshole to Carol is so Daryl would beat his ass to a pulp and make him wish he was dead!) Also hope there's more Daryl and Sophia daddy-daughter bonding moments...those two have to go fishing/frog hunting! (also really like your descriptions of food, especially in the previous chapters!)

You're doing great with updates if you're also building your universe for it simultaneously. I write myself but I haven't published on this site yet and I KNOW how difficult it is sonmake the universes and write at the same time. So well done!
And also, amazing chapter. Well thought out and you're right. Daryl and Carol are all about helping people, and I was so sad when their world started tearing them down and making them suspicious of everything. But what can you expect when the dead AND the living are out for your neck 24/7?
I look forward to seeing Amy and Andy in the future and canon characters!

I love the relationship between the three of them, I was glad it wasn't too bad and they managed to get their supplies at least out of the parking lot, still not home yet though so still some stress to come I'm sure.
I'd be interested to see if Amy shows up later, with her husband in another country and not likely to get home and that baby to take care of she's going to need some help for sure.
This is actually one of the only Caryl fics i am still reading. I fell out of love with the show a long time ago and Caryl has become too much work for me to enjoy anymore, but this fic still makes me smile and I get excited when it updates so i look forward to reading the next chapter

Pffft both Daryl and Carol are such softies at heart. They really just want everyone safe, even if they don't know them. But I get why they're extra cautious about families with children because they can really only move as fast as they can carry their children...

You have no idea how happy I was when I saw this update! To be honest, many abandoned the show (me included) as it felt they really didn't do justice to the characters anymore. So I'm more than excited to see your take on how everything wil go down.

I understand what you were saying at the beginning about how they kinda f*cked things up with the latest seasons, but continue to write your way and I will continue to read until the very last chapter.

Love your story I really do one thing though you mentioned a 30 gauge shotgun in your writings there is no such thing that I am aware of I think you might have meant to say 20 gauge however if you were thinking about an odd gauge to use there is a 28 gauge shotgun that is often used in certain skeet shooting and even bird hunting was once a lot more popular than it is now and would be something that might have been inherited any smaller country setting and ammo would be a little more difficult to come by
