I really love the story line for this fic! It's very unique and interesting. I feel you've kept to Wakatoshi's character really well and I can't wait to see how you develop their relationship from here. Please update again, I'd love to read more of this fic :)

Can I just mention that I always needed this pairing in my life? XD

To start off I think what's setting this story apart from any previous and possible future one's is the pacing. You're not rushing the characters whatsoever. We're only two chapters deep but you can definitely feel Wakatoshi's uncertainty at his new surroundings, his desire to fit in with the family and his utter nervousness at how to necessarily make that happen. He comes off as cool and collected but the thoughts he has indicates a subtle shyness that he's developed when he interacts with others. I think the most telling is how he handles Souta. Wakatoshi didn't want to put the boy off of volleyball but had enough awareness of his own abilities that training would've caused him more damage than helped him. So he allowed him to watch as he practiced. I think that's quite sweet in his own way. So rather than put Souta in danger, he accommodated him and is actively working to help him improve.

Now to start Wakatoshi and Kagome definitely have a bond that is still actively forming. He feels comfortable around her and I think that's going to be the key in helping him develop into a much kinder person than he was initially when he was introduced in the series. It's been a little while since I've watched season 3 of Haikyuu but I do recall him being a bit standoffish and having some minor difficulty connecting with people outside of the court. He's very goal driven but Kagome is pushing him to spread out his wings in his own way while not making him feel uncomfortable. Overall there's an incredible balance between these two that I'd like to see more of. I can only imagine when, much later down the line of course, they become an active pair rather than just 'step siblings'. Although I am detecting a slight protective nature from Wakatoshi in how he handles Souta. So seeing him develop that sort of behavior towards Kagome is something I sincerely look forward to. I admit it, I'm a fluff addict. XD

Anyways, that team is going to blast the others out of the water. Talk about super star line up. Although I'm certain it'll take a great deal of time for them to build trust together and learn how to use each other's strengths and weaknesses to their advantage during games. I did burst out laughing when Oikawa quit on the spot when he saw Wakatoshi. My senses are telling me he'd rather face him on the other side of the net rather than play as his setter.

Anyways, you did an amazing job with this! I'm biting at the bit to read more! Of course now I'm itching to read more Wakatoshi/Kagome. Good luck and I look forward to the next update eagerly!

Ahhhhh I'm so hyped for the next chapter! I've been looking for good Haikyuu crossovers and I love Inuyasha. Can't wait to read as Ushijima starts to fall for Kagome. I'm really looking forward to a blushing embarressed Ushijima that has no idea how to handle his feelings. Update soon!

Amazing chapter, darling, this was a great read. The third years you gathered are going to make this hilarious, and I can already see Oikawa trying to make Kagome starry eyed. And failing horribly.
