it's a good one shot though, a very sad one. It's a lesson to me that being immortal isn't cool, but a sad sad curse to be given.
Being immortal means that you get to live forever, being immortal means that you get to watch your family grow and die. Being immortal means that you can't die and meet you family in the afterlife.

However, I've recently looked into whether or not Twilight is actually immortal, and the current writer, Meghan McCarthy confirmed that she won't outlive her friends. Which then created a new fan theory of Born Alicorns vs Artificial Alicorns where Born Alicorns (Celestia and Luna) are the immortal ones while Artificial Alicorns, like Candance and Twilight, remain mortals, but gain a massive power boost and more types of magic. Of course, this being a fan theory means that it may be wrong, but personally, I think it makes the most sense.

Will you be keeping Twilight's mortality (or at least doesn't outlive her friends) or will you ignore it? Sorry if the phrasing seems offensive, but I can't find a better phrasing. Also, what do you think of the new revelations the new episodes bring to light, especially Flurry Heart?

;-; this is a beautiful sadfic. sweet and gentle, but it still has that bitter tang that makes my eyes tingle. i hope to see more of this awesome story soon. even if this becomes cannon, i'll bet it will be an epic journey to get there
