this fic is everything, I'm so glad I happened upon it, because I just read all 14 chapters in a few hours. I haven't felt compelled to read fanfic that quickly in so long, but at the end of every chapter I just have to know what happens next.

Gahhhhhhh I got to the last chapter and nearly screamed it's so good! You write all of these characters so well, I felt actual grief for Obi-Wan! Ahhhhhh nicely done, can't wait for the next update!

Obi-Wan... If you cannot off-load your feelings to the Force (Anakin), you can lock them down inside your mind (hopefully), even if it is unhealthy use of Occlumency.
Or let them out by punching a boxing bag. Cursing can work, too.

Oh come on! I have waited this long and there's only one more chapter! This is too good. You're killin' me.

First off, I think I hate you. Secondly, I think that's a lie. This story has torn apart my emotions and shredded them into tiny little bits. I actually got tears in my eye at one point, which is a pretty big achievement for a fanfiction. Yet, I really, really love it and found myself quite invested in it.

Alot of writers post stories about "What ifs" after Mustafar, and most go with either Anakin somehow repents, turns from the Dark Side, or he does not and it becomes more of a reflection story. Very few do what you have done, which is take the time and fully explore the "What if" of Anakin still falling, but having that slice of 'light' of 'him' shimmering though. Even fewer do that well. You are one of the ones who does an outstanding job.

I'm very intrested to see what comes next, and I can't help but wonder if we will hear anymore from the twins or Padme anytime soon?

(P.s. I think I've always slightly shipped Anikan, Padme, AND Obi Wan together but refused to realize it. Ch. 12 was a bit of a guilty suprise with how giggly I got over Padme supposed comment about "joining them in bed")

So instead of doing my hw, I read the entirety of this fic and wow am I sad and suffering ! (But like in a good way) everything about this fic is painful and heartwrenching and I can't wait to see where it goes next!

This fic is amazing. It terrible seeing everyone being so hurt and I'm so glad that padme has escaped but now I'm so worried about obi wan. Definitely hoping for a happy ending for everyone. Thanks for the fic!
