This was beautiful... because the relationship of Olicity in your story began with a long, solid friendship and blossomed into the kind of love that wanted what's best for the other. It's a really sweet story, which I would like to think ends in a marriage because the way you've developed their unexpected romance through a period of nine years tells me that they can actually skip the dating part, get engaged, and get married, since they've only had to realize that they were already lovers. What else is there for them to do, especially now that they're obviously very attracted to each other? (And I'm not such a big fan of intimacy outside of marriage.) It's always wonderful to see someone marry his/her best friend. I think that love is commitment, and loving someone means you'd be willing to walk with that person whatever happens, with all his/her imperfections.

Thank you for writing not only something I can enjoy - despite your writer's block - but also something I can ponder deeply about. Kudos!
