This is another of those moments when one has to bite thhe bullet.
I hope Bond finds her soon. It would be nice for Bond to put Mallory in his place (publicly) and then go on an island to live with Olivia (his M) happily ever after.
After all Mallory likes to use Olivia's legacy against Bond. As long Bond doesn't endanger other people's lives it should be none of Mallory's business how Bond accomplishes the mission, nor should he pretend to care about him.
Perhaps Olivia will finally give in to her desire to see him, and Bond's dance on the cliffs will come to a happy end.

Still it is nicely written, thank you detectivecaz for an interesting update.

this one honest story, letting M, pardon me, Olivia remember 007 in a way or another. I also like that in your story M is even able to hack into MI6's network (without being detected apparently), and that she cares about her favourite troublemaker.

I hope they'll meet again and can move forward in their relationship.
