Very nice! I've always enjoyed that line, where Edmund remembers the mercy h was shown, and it's so clear how it has changed him.

A very nice fleshing out of Edmund's point of view in A Horse and His Boy. I especially liked the flipping back and forth between present and flashback: it gave a very good impression of being inside Edmund's head. Good job!
