How the heck can you dislike Shorou? He's one of my favorite shounen protagonists of all time simply because of how unique he is. He's basically survivors guilt personified with an ideal he understands is impossible but follows anyways due to how beautiful the dream on its own. The perfect mixture of optimism and idealism for a main character.

Well they shouldn't really age even if they're real people now instead of servants there's nothing weird about it. Saber Artoria has semi immortality she only started aging in her story when she lost Excalibur and Avalon and got Rhongomyniad instead she became Tituria because of her huge... nevermind.

Gilgamesh is 3/4 god and he already mentioned that he already went way beyond his lifespan just for searching for the herb of immortality so despite his youthful look in Babylonia he's actually super old by that time.

Damn i just realized how amazing this story would've been if this was written after Babylonia was released in the game. FSN Gilgamesh was pretty terrible as a character he's just there as a villain and Fate Zero gave us a glimpse of Gilgamesh as a character and why he's pissed at humanity BUT Babylonia gave Gilgamesh more depth as a character not just a villain but as a person and the wise king it shows us how's Gilgamesh when he's not in a bad mood he cracking jokes, he's generous, and it showed us why Gilgamesh is worthy of being called the King of Heroes.

Wow there's a lot of wrong infos in this fic especially with Gilgamesh well considering this was written before Babylonia was released i guess its not the writer's fault

Truly a wonderful story from start to finish, although there were some parts that seemed rushed the relationship they had the way it started and how it will continue in the future was perfect, at least for me, you managed to capture the core of the characters their way of acting and think. The incredible development that was all this I can only congratulate you for bringing us a great story, those who say they are oc or that this is not right, I will only say that they write "pure shit" the fact that Shirou does not receive prominence does not indicate that this as An alternative Fate route could not pass, Shirou is too overrated and it is stupid to compare or pair him with a king or historical person who lived much longer than his imagination can go ... The lack of Shirou in this epilogue made me anxious. Like, is this the reality that made (archer) Shirou‘s archer. Because we know that their isn’t in-fact an infinite loop so it had to start somewhere by one Shirou Emiya who had never experienced the grail war.

But whatever this was an amazing story that I finished in one night and I’m sad that there aren’t more Gilgamesh story’s that show any character development.

A few criticism, but your opinions on certain characters is affecting your writing. Characters are acting OOC, particularly Gilgamesh and Kirei. I personally thinks that if you don't like certain characters, avoid writing them in is the best course of action. Bashing on characters is a quick way to cheapen a fic.
Also, Rin cannot use magic, nor can Illya or any other modern magus. They're using magecraft, abilities that still follows a sense of logic. Magic in Fate lore is something like Medea creating a mini sun or Merlin literally bending reality.

This fanfic would've been good buuuuuuuuut your opinions on certain things bleed through the character's words which not only make this OOC but the fact that you seem to not really understand why certain characters seem that way, well, the fanfic suffers from it.

For example, you dislike Shirou, yet you love Gilgamesh. Even further that you dismiss his faults into the background after a simple argument between Artoria and him like that solved everything. I'll have to remind you that even if this is fanfic, which is why I don't criticise it in the first place, this pairing will NEVER make sense or happen. So the fact that you not only fail to justify the relationship working out other than, *it just happens gradually because they live together*, but also dissing certain things, even if subtly, really grates on my nerves.

If you want critism on the writing, it's that you use the same character interaction structure and scenes over and over and over again, with different variations that really doesn't make it better. Oh and did I mention characters acting OOC sometimes because you project your opinions onto their own? Because, yeah, you really did.

Wooooow that was truly amazing! I LOVED your story, like really, it was wonderful. As you say, there is not many stories about them, so founding one this incredible was a gift haha, thank you so much. It is a long fanfic, but there's not a single chapter that is boring, that is something really hard to achieve! I loved it :D

i also don't like shirou. i've hated him since fate/stay night.

Ok on another note, this has to be one of the best KinKen fanfictions I've found all over the years. You have successfully given the impression that their changes are natural and possible to happen in the canon. They slowly, yet surely grow from their former selves to be a better version, and I have to emphasize that this whole story made me smile countless of times in most parts (especially where Gilgamesh starts 'opening up' to Rin because in my opinion those two could be a very entertaining duo). I love how the progress between Arturia and Gilgamesh is done in a slow, realistic way. Also thank you for giving Illya a happy life, she more than deserves it.

This is a wonderful story and I hope many can learn from this!

I extremely rare write any comments, but I can't leave without say how much I love your fic. It's one of my favorite text ever. Your Arturia and Gilgamesh are perfect and they don't turn into OOC. Their characters are exactly how I imagine it and their relationship develop slow but in realistic rate. I spent a few very nice day, reading your fanfic and for certainty I will be back to it.
I read too your "To The Beginning" (even if I don't like AU) and I have hope that you will finish that fic in future.
