I'm rereading this to get through a programming project. The part where Sharon is out on the cliffs & having the internal battle with herself so mirrors one that I had with myself on Saturday while in the city that I hope to eventually call home in the coming years. Spot on & so poignant.

A bit late in coming but I felt compelled to write this review this morning.

I used to read a lot of Major Crimes (and The Closer) fanfiction but stopped when I contemplated taking up writing again as I didn't want the work of others to influence what I produced. It's quite clear however that since I produce largely silly nonsense and twaddle and you ooze class with every single keystroke as you venture into realms that I would never contemplate that I can happily read your amazing work more often.

I devoured this story over the last 24 hours and it has simply moved me to tears. No mean feat for a tea drinker from the middle of England (although my mood may have been influenced from the massive amounts of Pucini I filled the room with as my eyes danced across my phone screen).

By the time I got to maybe the fourth chapter it no longer mattered who these characters were or what show they came from, you made them and the universe they inhabited completely your own. A universe I'd very much like to live in myself.

So thank you for the enjoyable ride. Being late to this particular party has its advantage since I haven't had to wait impatiently for the next chapter. Thanks again.

Such a beautiful story, I loved every minute of it, even if I'll be regretting starting it so late when my alarm clock goes off in the morning. Having gone through a heart attack with my love this summer, it hit almost too close to home, but the writing was beautiful, and yours, like mine, has a happy ending, so I'm reminding myself to breathe. Thank you for continuing to write this couple so perfectly, I'll continue to enjoy every new word you write, and every word I re-read of yours as well.
