While I believe Lucius and Narcissa had a warmed relationship with each other, this was...wow, i have no words. To use your description: EMOTIONAL! I loved it, especially the motif and symbolism of the snow falling. I thought it was a nice touch that Arthur Weasley was there, though the graveness of the situation deprived him of the ability to gloat.
Wonderful. Just wonderful. Your writing was flawless.
