Really fantastic work! I believe they are the counter parts of each other. That the jewel is just repeating history over and over. The NxK pairing is darker and honestly takes a deeper plot line. When its done right it's soooo good! Thank you!

I feel ineloquent but my brain/body feels like the equivalent of keymashing right now it's all just screeching on the inside.

YOUR THEORY IS SO GOOD I'd never considered it that way but honestly it makes so much sense that they're forever connected, and the Midoriko/Magatsuhi being the original was something that I understood as a theme of the story, but to say "they are the same soul and this will happen over and over" is just the coolest thing since crunchy peanutbutter and I am incoherent again cool.

GOD THIS IS SO BRILLIANT... I love the theme of Magatsuhi/Midoriko, Onigumo/Kikyou, and Naraku/Kagome; these monsters are bound to these women because of the jewel and they'll never escape. It's wonderfully written (which, duh, this is you we're talking about), and it's /different/ which makes it even more exciting to read. It's always Naraku/Kikyou (which is awesome in itself), but it's never Naraku/Kagome, and you're really making me wonder why. Excellent excellent excellent.

That was beautifully written and painful to read at the same time. You see, I'm usually a InuKag only type of person. I read NarKag a few times before but it's not really my cup of tea because it's usually very dark and sad and it hurts my feelings but yeah, that was amazing. I love it. The whole concept is really interesting. It hurts me but it's nice. I don't even know anymore. Keep doing what you're doing because your writing is tremendously good, I mean it. And it wasn't confusing at all (not to me, at least)

This is beautiful. My favorite line is, by far, "Surely, to kiss the Devil and know that God existed somewhere out there was better than to learn that neither Heaven nor Hell existed in the first place." I'M IN AWE OF IT AND THIS ENTIRE FIC! I love the idea of the vortex of the jewel, that it exists beyond a physical form, that Kagome and Naraku are as bound to each other long after the supposed end of it all. I am blown away by this fic, I love it, I am going to marry it, and I am shipping them as FUCK. GREAT JOB, GREAT JOB!

This is a very interesting concept you have here - this theory of cyclicality does sound legit. I've never thought of Naraku and Kagome being almost-Inuyasha and almost-Kikyou (respectively) until I read this fic.

Beyond this, I must say that you really have a way with words. Again, beautiful descriptions - very lyrical e.g. "grinds the last image... into the dust of dead memories" and your description of Naraku as "a specter along the fringes of domesticity and death". Breathtaking, really.

Another great fic where you created a plausible situation for a non-canon pairing. Both trapped in the endless cycle of the Shikon No Tama they are bound to eachother. A fate they do not embrace, yet cannot escape from either.

Even without the Shikon Jewel the battle now continues. Drawn to eachother like slaves of that eternal bond. Something not even Inuyasha can break as they balance on the thin line of love and hate.

You have a great talent for writing dark fics and you should definitly write more of them and maybe try to write a longer story. Maybe not a continuation, but a longer one shot perhaps? There is more to explore in the non-canon pairing world and you certainly have a knack for keeping them all in character. Do write more -

You know, before I read this, I would have said there was no way I'd ever ship Naraku/Kagome in any way. I was wrong. You've done a great job making this work and making it believable, even the part where she's being unfaithful to Inuyasha. I love the idea that they'll always haunt each other because of the Shikon jewel's influence.
