Raph and Mikey fluff is my weakness; i had similar thoughts on this episode and i must admit that it was interesting to know that i was not the only one. well written; your grammar was neat and mostly correct (don't feel bad for mistakes; we all miss one or two) and the thing with the plot bunnies? Yeah. me. always.
as for an apocalyptic story, YYYYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! i love them very much, even though i could never, ever write one. You're back again! I'm not going to cry, I swear (too bad my promises aren't as trustworthy as Raph's sniff). But I'm glad you're a little more active because I missed talking to you girl And the weirdest thing, I've been thinking of Eye of the Storm just a couple of days ago and reread the whole thing. So I guess we should have another update right, hehe.

But for now this quenched all my thirst for your stories and the brofluff obviously. I loved this episode, it had way more depth than most have. The bad guys are getting eviller (totally a word of course) and I think I like it. And the aftermath you described in your chapter, it fit so well. Especially Raph's characterization. There are no reasons or in his words 'psychological crap' connected to his motives. He just knows what to do. He acts on instincts and that means he'll keep Mikey, and all of his brothers really, safe even when it costs him. It's pretty sweet how Raph decided to open up and show Mikey the truth. It's probably more than enough what he just told Mikey. The little guy trusts his brothers with everything he has so when Raph tells him he matters and that he can count on him, Mikey will believe it within a heartbeat.
I also like how you explained it all. Mostly fanfiction writers are like, big brothers take care of the little brothers so because Mikey is the youngest he's protected the most. Or because he's so innocent he's protected from the dark world out there. And who knows, maybe they're right. But in the end, I think it's more logical like this. I mean, have the guys ever stood still for a moment and wondered why they are so protective of Mikey? I think they would come to the same conclusion Raph just did really. As for Mikey, he has other things to worry about. He knows his brothers and him have each other's backs and that's all he needs to know. I just like it better that way I think.

Anyways, I'm going probably overthinking this again so I'll shut up. Oh and about the AU idea you mentioned? I say do it and I'll be your ever faithful reader again hahaha. But on one condition, update Eye of the Storm for me, kay?
