You know, there is a way that Hermione could get her parents back. Open one of the condoms, leave the package somewhere that her mother would be likely to notice it. Then, teasingly tell her mother that they wouldn't be able to properly enjoy themselves, because the condoms in the bathroom were too small, and unlike at school, they couldn't use magic for birth control.

Poor Hermione. Her parents are going through a mid-life crisis. Her mother walks around starkers. And she has a not-boyfriend. :-D

This would make an interesting start to a sixth year fic where Harry and Hermione are together after this happening and they work getting through the crap of HBP. I think this would be an interesting start to that type of fic.

Not to put too fine a point on it: Hermione's parents are being jerks. They are setting a TERRIBLE example for their daughter, not because they're having sex, but because they're doing it in such a way that it is bothering their daughter, keeping her from sleeping, etc. They should respect her needs and feelings more.

I think their daughter being a witch these many years has finally unhinged the Grangers.
Harry and Hermione are very cute together.

Kinky. And Funny. And you even led me on a false trail... i thought that this would turn out to "explain" why Hermione constantly leaves home earlier and earlier each holiday and does things like race to GP12 in the turn of a hand from ehhh Switzerland? when she's ehh "needed" :D
But this variant isn't halfway bad either, especially if it were embedded in a little longer story where it became clearer that Danyelle had ulterior motives like letters that sounded suspiciously like something fishy with red haired people might be going on or so... ;)

As it is, i love everything up to Mum Granger leaving, the pretend girl/boyfriends were slightly less wonderfully written, but i can't really say why either.

A well done story. This was hilarious to read and who knew Hermione's parents can be so bold. Somewhat felt bad for Hermione, but couldn't help being amused at her predicament and how it seemed that Mrs. Granger was pushing her daughter to get a boyfriend in Harry. Interesting how it all turned out in the end though and the kiss might have meant more then Just pretend I am sure. Thank you. Keep up the good work.

Wish you'd continue this into a proper story, I could see this getting interesting.
