Now this is going to be an interesting battle of wits and teachings between Jiraiya and Ziren over how they try to teach Naruto. There is a lot about Ziren that is still Mysterious and why he's acting this way to those that do want to protect Naruto.

Overall interesting interlude and it makes me wonder what's next in the overall storyline of yours. Keep up the good work upon such a great tale like this one.

hm, Adair has a point in regards to Zabuza. Putting a power hungy man in charge does nothing to mitigate how difficult he;ll be to get rid of. After all, he may be in on their crimes, but he can also hold them over their heads as well.

Hope naruto will also guess who are his parents soon (and not in 3 years)

I assumed the new arrival at the end of chapter 15 was Shinko. Well... that's embarrassing. Haven't read 16 yet, but just ignore that part of my last review. My bad!

If a chapter contained no plot and just consisted of Team 8 interacting with one another through banter and just normal conversation, I would still love it. Seriously, you make them that entertaining when they are together.

The story behind the Tomb of the Wise Man, incredibly interesting. I was getting so enthralled by the lore behind the site that I momentarily forgot that it's not canon. For that, I applaud you.

However, there is one thing that I am slightly disappointed with. Shinko. Firstly, having the same antagonist showing up in back-to-back arcs can get a little stale. I understand that he wasn't killed so he would return eventually, I just wished it wasn't this soon.

Secondly, I find him to be an underwhelming antagonist (so far, as of chapter 15). I'm interested in the cult, he himself just doesn't hold my attention very well. He's a deranged extremist with no character traits that I find noteworthy or endearing. Hidan, for example, was an extremist, but he stole the show every time he was on screen with his humor and brashness. A villain doesn't have to b like that, but I need something to get me invested in Shinko. Maybe that is still to come.

The whole Light Style abilities also threw me for a loop. Maybe it will be explained later, but as of right now I don't really see the addition of Light Style as necessary.

Despite the things I didn't like about the story so far, it is still great. A funny and endearing main cast, strong plotlines, good character development, and solid pacing.

I found this story yesterday and have read through these first 8 chapters rather quickly. So far, I love it. That summary of yours really drew me in and I haven't been able to stop since.

The character dialogue and interactions are great. You are portraying the characters very well, and I enjoy the few OC's you've introduced. Ziren, for instance, is very interesting and I'm hoping to find out more about who he is.

I also enjoy the team 8 dynamic. I was expecting to be bored by Shino's character, but I've actually grown to like him. His candor and logic contrasts well with Naruto, then there's the innocent Hinata that is starting to develop some of Naruto's mischievousness. Also, is the Aburame obsession with sugar canon? If not, it's quite an amusing quirk that you've introduced with them.

Anyway, thanks for writing. I'll probably leave a few more reviews about my thoughts on the upcoming chapters until I'm caught up.
