this fic is a real rollercoaster for me, first I get annoyed about him not dodging the spearow despite knowing about the flock, then the rocket battle turns out quite enjoyable, but then I'm rinsed the actual Ash is actually still in the body... I'm not sure about this man. never been a fan of fics where the possessed keeps their mind in their body, makes the whole experience a heck of a lot creepier.

Damn, that was a good battle. Having a double soul kinda thing with Ash is an interesting concept especially since you used sinnoh Ash (you know, the smart one.)

I know this hasn’t been update in a while, but this chapter had me thinking and I wanted to just propose my theory. Although I’m only on chapter 16 as of right now, so if this is disputed by a future chapter just ignore this then.

What if Austin is actually Ash’s brother? It sounds a little far fetched, but hear me out.

Red was said to have disappeared years ago, and while it’s not confirmed that he’s Ash’s dad, Red could have gone to Austin’s world and had a family there. Since Palkia is (to put it simply) the dimension pokemon, Red could have traveled to Austin’s world. It would explain Austin and Ash’s connection, although this may be stretching it. Am I making sense?

For the Saffron Gym you could have Sabrina turn everyone into dolls and then have Ash battle Sabrina to get Austin and the others back. That could be how his secret is revealed. Similar to one of the original Yugioh episodes during the duelist kingdom arc where Bakura duels Yami Yugi when the others are trapped inside their favorite cards.

This is a great story! I hope you continue with it.
