Um... Did Madison literally play into that stepmother trope? Before you police anyone else, focus on your own disrespectful children. You use a child as a go-between with your own son and then want to "come down on her like a ton of bricks?"
And Travis needs to grow some balls.

This is really well-written! I just recently got into this fandom... like today recently... I'm a big fan of TWD and I figured that it wouldn't hurt to start FTWD... Nick's character is really interesting and the family dynamic of the Clark's and Manawa's is a bit fucked up, but you seem to have captured that beautifully. Kudos to you! I would love to see where this is going! Lourdes is a pretty kick-ass character! You are definitely managing writing a teenager during the apocalypse really well. I can't wait for the next update!

Season 4 and everyone but Alicia was killed off for crying out loud. I get it the show is about dead walking and the living fighting to live. So is there no hope? I lost any hope for this show, any hope for people to stay together and live. They needed you to write this show. I started to understand Madison, Alicia and Nick though I was still upset about the Manawa, Salazar family being wiped out whilst they keep making Daniel disappear but then the writers screwed us over again by leaving one Clark standing. Please update.

Nice change of events here... I noticed you are really teaming the teenagers together which I am digging. Obviously it's not all rainbows and unicorns but that is what makes it fun, right? Anyway, looking forward to the next update!

This story is quite good, the only complaint I have so far is the chapters' length, because they are very short. Other than that, this is great. Hope to see the relations between kids getting better, I can already see some possible future romance happening.

As far as your author note from last chapter, I hope this means what I think it means... I feel (know) several people are keeping a certain character alive—Chris— in their fic because I feel this show loves to off interesting characters... however, if I may suggest, I think the death of another certain character—Travis—would be a real interesting concept in your story especially when it comes to the family dynamic theme you're going with. Anyway, keep it up, looking forward to the next update.
