I was enjoying your story quite a lot, even if I think it needed more Ed, and perhaps deviating a bit more from the book. Unfortunately you stopped just when things were starting to become original. I would have really loved to see where you were going with this. Still, this was a nice job, and I'm adding the story to my alerts should you ever decided to continue it.

When I first started reading this I thought it had some really good potential- but the entire part covering the events in book 1 were unbearably boring. I re-read my Harry Potter books frequently and I was hoping for more originality and plot diversion. The title is also very misleading, we have barely seen anything of Ed as a teacher so far. Also, this story in general is very bland. It sticks too close to canon and is a generic copy of any "Ed goes to hogwarts and teacher "ohhh wooowplot. You haven't really brought anything new into this story- it's very forgettable. In fact, the only reason why I remembered this story is because I remembered how much disliking I had for it.
This review sounds really mean, I don't usually say things this harsh. But tough love I guess. Sugar coating everything in fake compliments to spare your feelings aren't going to do you any good in the longs run. Maybe boost your confidence a bit, but everyone needs to remember their place sometimes.

Now, I think the idea for this story is really good and interesting. I wish that you just executed it better. You have potential.
