I just wanted to say that, and I hope you don’t mind, but I used your poem in a project that I had to do for my English II class back when I was in tenth grade. Well, now I’m a senior and I came across this poem again and realized how much I wanted to thank you! And don’t worry, I gave you the credit. See, what we had to do was pick a poem that we really loved written by someone other than ourselves and share it with the class, then we had to do all that crap where you find the rhyme scheme and find different literary devices. Also we had to have some sort of visual, so I drew a picture of Malik and put it on the poster board with your poem. In case you want to know, I got an A. But thank you again for writing such a good poem, I can see that you really understand Malik Ishtar, and for that, you should be proudest of all.
