A nice short story. A thinking Harry story is a little used form.

I think you should at least have mentioned the possibility that Harry got on the team for the reason the book actually says: because Gryffindor was desperate to win a few games for a change. ("*Flattened* in that last match by Slytherin, I couldn't look Severus Snape in the face for weeks…")

It was good how he stuck up for himself I love that harry better than one that does not stick up for himself and I like he got something in his mind and stuck with it

Knowing Snape, he would consider this just a ploy for more attention and hoping he'd be begged to participate. :P It would be nice to think that this would make even his detractors consider, however, that there is a little more depth to Harry than they'd expected.

I love how Harry got onto the team in his first year but I always thought he was given it cause he's Harry Potter. Its nice that others think the same to the extent of fanfic. Great job. c:
