Author, girl...this was the most heart-wrenching book I have ever read, I was hook, linesinker by the end of the first chapter. you made this reader cry and it is very hard to do that, I may get teary-eyed in my eyes may burn but this one actually made me really be invested in these characters and made tears roll down my eyes. That's how talented you truly are please keep going I know you have a sequel out and you only have 6 chapters on it, but you've got to keep going because I'm so invested and these characters that I wish it was in the movies but unfortunately nobody owns Marvel except for Disney and they got their own Cannon. Oh well, please update your sequel book because I'm like at the edge of my seat waiting for an update from you. you might be busy and I totally understand that no pressure is just that I'm really invested and I'm a huge fan. so please update when you can I guess if you're busy and have other priorities just don't leave us hanging for years and years to come. I wish I could vote and work remote on this goddamn appand I wish that they would implement it on this app which I am writing to you from.

Oh my gosh you should have written the movie! This story is brilliant and I'm so excited to see how you tackle the rest of Bucky and Sadie's story. I didn't expect you to continue on when I first started reading this story and now that I'm here I'm so happy that you are. You're amazing.

This story was so beautifully written. You made us feel all of the emotions, joy laughter, heartache. I don’t usually read a whole of of fics based in the 40’s and during the war just because we all know how it’s going to play out, but you did such an amazing job of integrating new material into a story we know so well. I just loved it. Binged it in about a week! Brava!

so I binge-read this whole thing over the course of about three days and I just... love this story. I typically stay away from stories that take place in the 40s because we all know what usually ends up happening to Steve and Bucky, so I typically try to avoid that heartbreak. But I found that I just HAD to read this story. Man, am I glad that I did. Extremely detailed, truly beautiful, fantastically written - a FAVE!

Re-read this first chapter and am just realising you changed the names of some characters. Betty Parsons instead of Betty Carnahan, Evelyn Thompson to Evelyn Lewis and I’m pretty sure Doc Holmes was called Samuel or something at the start before it was Ian. Can’t believe i never picked that up

Damn, I remember when we initially talked about this chapter. I honestly don't know why you are not 100% happy with this. It reads beautifully from the beginning. These two always have tugged at my heartstrings, and I think that's why I never finished my own Cap story. I mean really who was going to compete with this. It could very well be the best fanfiction I have ever read. You are so gifted, my dear! If I could favorite every single chapter, I would! Haha!
