Damn, love them vampire hunting together and so glad that they were able to take him down! Every time I read the vampire's name, though, I kept wanting to just read it as Thanos, but I mean, they are both annoying and killing people mindlessly, essentially. Thanks for this, love the connection that Emma and Killian have through their dreams and Emma asking Killian to call her love. :P

I cannot believe that I have never reviewed this! I read it some time again, and then returned to re-read it, and realized that somehow I didn't leave a comment the last time. I hope that you still get this, as I know the story was written some time ago.

Anyway, I love the unique quality of this particular AU, with Emma and Killian as vampire hunters, both seeking the same monster who took their loved ones from them. Even in such a different situation from the one we have in canon, there are wonderful aspects of their characters that you have woven into this, and you have done an excellent job still capturing how very strong but damaged each of them are, and how they are made to be each other's match and comfort, to truly understand the other and what he/she has been through.

Really liked how once has been captured, she both finds her own way out of the cell, but still needs Killian's help when he comes to her rescue; they had to defeat Thanatos together for them to finally succeed and find peace. Loved the idea of them reaching each other through their dreams - using the way that he had been tormenting him to connect with each other and finally bring him done.

Damn, I just can't believe you did this in a couple thousand words, like... this had all the excitement and everything as a 50,000 word novel packed into only about 15,000 words. I'm in awe!

Shiiiiiiit. I LOVE THIS! I love the mystery, the gore, the magic. I love the mood cause sometimes you don't need fluff, sometimes you want the nitty gritty and this was perfect. Amazing job!

This story was amazing.

So, I typically am not a fan of CS vampire AUs, mostly because they are very out of character. But given Emma's background (being a bit more violent) and her penchant for grabbing bail jumpers, this... this is a story that fits them (I admit, I was worried you'd go all Buffy and make Killian a vampire).

I really liked the dream twist and wish I'd seen more of their partner bonding time. And that vacation... For reasons.

I'm sure it was rather freeing after Warm Nights and to write this. I think it was wise to listen to the muse.

I think my favorite part was seeing how well they worked together, and how Killian helped her beat the big bad mind control...

I'll forgive you for pausing warm nights since that was so good.

I loved this story! The quotes you pulled directly from the show worked really well, and there was just the right amount of cannon nods to the show without it seeming excessive. They make a great team, and I wish there were more stories about the two of them as partners! Great smut too. No talk, all action. This is the first story of yours I have read, but I am definitely going to check out the others!
