I liked all of this except that end part with Marietta, specifically that he had let her in to prove to himself that he had made the right choice. Besides the fact that the thoughts we were shown of his indicated he definitely saw her as the best possible partner given the situation, not to mention their obvious physical compatibility, there is also the fact that his description of Marietta was that she is "completely untrustworthy", which would absolutely be a non-starter for someone like Snape. It also shows a fickleness to him that seems out of character that he would send her off for the paperwork after talking about it and having sex all night/morning, and then she would get back to him possibly having backed out. I would have preferred for Marietta to have broken in or something while he was distracted.

This was one of the more imaginative and flat out fun MLC fics I've read and I think I have read most and considered all of them. Brava!

Oh this one shot gives me the feels!

This was so fun. When Hermione was trying to tell him to sit down I laughed so hards I had tears. And that was before she tried his name. Using Shakespeare was a nice touch - very apt for this clever couple. And I especially enjoyed the scene with Ron at the ministry. I also like that you maintained that they were making the best of a bad situation, and not acting like the marriage law is the greatest thing now that they found each other.

Hermione moves to France, formulates and enacts a successful plan with Severus, Draco, and most of Slytherin to bring down the Ministry, moves back home, eventually marries whoever the hell she wants.
