Usually, I don't like stories where Daryl is (as you put it yourself in the first chapter) a little OOC, but this was really amazingly written and considering the circumstances and the way you told his backstory, it made total sense for him to be the way you wrote him. I liked this Daryl and Beth a lot. Sad but sweet ending. Not unrealistic, I suppose, for the zombie apocalypse. I enjoy all of your stories and look forward to the next one... ks
