Ah! This was so adorable! Absolutely love the internal dialogue - you conveyed a lot of emotion with very few words, and the quiet tone of Kelly's thoughts has a lot more impact with the lack of dialogue and the waking-up-in-bed atmosphere. Bravo, whole thing was awesome!

This is such a wonderful story...if time ends up being the only enemy that John and Kelly don't end up defeating, I think I could live with that. :')
You have a lovely writing style, Shep. And this story absolutely reflects that. It's almost lyrical/poetic in a way, and your descriptions set the peaceful mood and emotion of the scene perfectly. But it's still not overly flowery and is easy to follow, which is something I always appreciate. Simply an amazing job. Thank you so much for sharing!
