I love this! Dick's characterization in this is great, and I love Bruce trying to be a parent! The Artemis and Robin friendship at the end isn't completely established, especially since they just spent the whole fic butting heads, and I like how it's more of a "things get better from here" kind of deal. Thank you. For writing this!

What the heck!? How do you have only 6 reviews on this entire thing!? It is literally one of the best fanfictions I have ever read! This should be on the news! I am in love! I have never read a fic and thought it was so good that I was tempted to read all of the authors other fics, and you sir/ma'am have made me feel this way. You did a fantastically brilliant job on this and I wouldn't change a single thing!

Great one-shot! I initially had some difficulty imagining Artemis being hostile towards a random student who just wanted to introduce himself, but I can see how Dick's comment about her being a scholarship student would've rubbed her the wrong way. :) I also really enjoyed your portrayal of Dick as a 14-year-old schoolboy... a perfect mixture of Robin's rationality and boyish emotions that haven't fully had a chance to mature yet.

Overall fantastic story and I can't wait to see what else you have in store!

Hey there! I read this for the second time since it was published (and am pretty sure I will read it again sometimes soon, because that's what I do when I find something I like) and let me tell you: this story is awesome. It's very well written, and for me at least, I could easily identify myself with both Dick and Artemis and Bruce and Alfred, and it never gets boring - which, trust me, can happen with one-shots, too. Great job!
There's only one thing that's not clear to me, but it may very well be because it's quite some time since I last watched the YJ cartoon and really can't remember the dates. At the beginning you say that Dick snapped the selfie with Artemis less then a month before, but later, when Bruce and Alfred are talking, Bruce states that Artemis has been on the team for almost a year now.

I really like this! Good written and fun. (Sad for Dick) but I like it!

I enjoyed how Rob had to deal with a simple civilian problem but still approached it like a vigilante and how spot-on Artemis' characterization was.
