I've never read this pairing before but I LOVED THIS STORY. IT WAS PERFECT. I mean aside from balancing angst and fluff and description, I just really enjoy your writing style. That doesn't always happen on this website. Really looking forward to reading more of your stuff!

Quite the emotional rollercoaster, with plenty to keep a reader hanging on until the very end. Well written, with bits that made me laugh out loud, it also had plenty of heart-warming fluff, and enough bits to offset them in order to avoid them being cliché.

Well worth a read, and if a proposed sequel does get written, hopefully it stands up as enjoyable a read as the originator.

Wow, just finished all 10 chapters in under 24 hours. I have to say that's a record. I just started reading this yesterday, and I have to say I like it.
The plot is quite clear, though I have to say, it's quite short-ish. There's not much talking involved but you make it up with the explanation.
And some spin-offs and sequel will make this story even greater. I hope you can make it long.

This story was amazing. I was admittedly mad at Jack because Hiccup went all Bruno Mars for Jack and he let his own stupidity blind him but it all worked out in the cutest way possible.

GAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH! FINALLY! I was literally on my bed with my phone clutched in my hands reading this whole thing eagerly! My bed is now a tangled mess of sheets and limbs (my legs were flailing the entire time) but MEH. WHO CARES. My heart was pounding and tears ran down my face! TTTTTvTTTTT WAH SO GOOOD! *screams into pillow*

I lovvvvvvvvvveeeee this ending :D and the pirate any sounds like a good idea lol :P

Finally, took these two dorks long enough. They are to damn cute with each other and al of this fluff and sweetness will give me cavities
