Reviews for It's Not Easy Being Green
Guest chapter 6 . 6/5
Skyrim Orcs do not look anything like the actual Orcs in Lord of the Rings but they do share a decent resemblance to Uraki and Uruk's from The Two Towers and Shadow of Mordor
Christopherprime22 chapter 14 . 3/28/2019
(sigh) Two years ago today was the last we heard of this story, and yet we still wait...We've been waiting as long as Ahkmar has been waiting for her quest. XD
Guest chapter 14 . 3/15/2019
I can't wait to read more of this to be honest, I find myself coming back and looking for stories I've read before and getting so excited to see more from them! I do hope you continue, your character is highly enjoyable for me, an honest breath of fresh air in my opinion. Good luck and good job!
Guest chapter 14 . 2/17/2019
What isn't there more
RedtailHawk19 chapter 1 . 7/1/2018
This is such a great story, well written and your main character is very complex. I can't wait for the Dwarves reactions to her being an me equivalent of an orc. I hope you updated the story. Thanks for writing it.
LoveHopes chapter 14 . 5/21/2018
Love it! Great chapter and I really like all this fluff and character / relation / world building.
DarkChampion chapter 1 . 4/1/2018
Being an orc was what dragged me in(to rare of an occurrence to let a chance slip by) but you succeed in getting me to go to the next chapter. Very curious how you're going to play this out, what with orcs being evil in M.E.
Guest chapter 11 . 10/23/2017
I thought then was her partner not for horse that should have been made clear from the beginning
amerdism chapter 14 . 10/21/2017
Awesome story, when's the next chapter going up, I hope to see more soon.
somethinorother chapter 14 . 4/4/2017
Lovely, glad to see an update! Although I'm so greedy that I wish these chapters were longer. :) At times, the slow build can be a torment as I'm also impatient, but I can't deny it's well worth the wait, since you absolutely need time to develop the character and relationships (a green skinned orc joining the company of Thorin Oakenshield needs some groundwork after all). And these are a joy to read anyway, the dialogue always flows so naturally and I really am growing to love your OC. I'm glad she has a playful aspect, and isn't some dour, war-hardened hero.
SleepiPanda chapter 14 . 3/30/2017
Yaaaaaas

Praise it be there was an update!

Fili is gonna twig out when he sees Master Orsimer without her helmet.
Spyrkle10 chapter 14 . 3/30/2017
I used to play WoW... until I took a reality check to the face and the constant system changes got to me. The slow build of plot shall pay off in a glorious climax one day, and on that day I shall rejoice. In the meantime, I shall still rejoice in a good update.
Zyenna chapter 14 . 3/30/2017
Oh gracious. He's gonna find out in the next few chapters huh? How will he take it? Pleeeeaaaaase update soon!
Mf0012 chapter 14 . 3/30/2017
Silly dwarveses questioning Akhmar!
ChronoMitsurugi chapter 14 . 3/29/2017
The biggest problem with Skyrim is broken jack of all trades master of everything. Harbinger of the Companions, ArchMage of Winterhold College, Nightingale of the Thieves Guild, Listener of the Dark Brotherhood, Dovahkiin Slayer of Alduin, all on the same character who can throw master level destruction spells while smithing Daedric armor and shooting dragons out of the sky with legendary dragonbone bow with fiery soul trap and 500 damage arrows. -_-'
So long as you keep her in character and keep her skills and levels appropriate then it should be fine.
Personally for stories I find D&D characters quite suited for them. The character sheets and control of stats and skills not to mention the proper limitations allow for good characters while avoiding Mary Sue's. You can also play out the fights with dice roll to give yourself a rough outline of how you want it to go, with scripted events for important scenes, and then fill in the details when you write up the first draft.
