Oh my goodness, Arthur! The feels! So many feels! I think it's so wonderful to see this extremely caring and genuinely concerned side of Arthur, he was so panicked when he found Merlin and wasn't afraid to get down in the dirt to help him, and I felt so strongly for Merlin, poor thing :(

This was very well written and you did a fantastic job on the characters. It was a sad but moving story to read :)

Gaah that was such an awesome fic! Poor Merlin, it's so easy to whimp him ;) But caring Arthur was great and totally made up for his typical clotpole-ness at the start. Great fic, I look foreword to more.

Well, that was enjoyable :) Always like a bit of whump!
I would recommend, however, that you stick to simpler language. I don't know if you were using a thesaurus or what, but there are many places where you have used words incorrectly and it's really distracting. Still, it was a nice bit of humble pie for Arthur ;)

Yep, that all rang true of a typical Arthur action. I am amazed that he didn't manage to kill Merlin at some stage with his arrogance!
