I've really gotta stop going through all your angsty one-shots. I keep leaving each one even more sad than the last left me. And I'm sure you're tired of seeing so many reviews from me back-to-back tonight about them. This one hits a little closer on a personal level since I'm sure I'll be Lucy in my later years and I've been around a few family members with it. I love Natsu's take on everything and the way you spun the tale really helped to break my heart. A job well done! Anyhew, I'm sure I should give you a break from my crazy notes tonight and actually go to sleep. Lol. Thanks for another great story!

Oh my gosh. . . This was so sad and it kinda hit home because my grandmother had Alzheimer's and although I wasn't very close to her (due to me being born after she had acquired Alzheimer's) it made me so sad to see my mom have to remind her of who she was and so on. I think you did a great job writing this, the angst is real in this one ;-;

I'm not sure if it's 'enjoyment' when you're crying at the end...but this story is very touching. Natsu and Lucy are so very in character, I'm terrified this might actually be something that could happen.

I don't even know how to begin this, I'm looking for my words but they keep slipping away.
Honestly, I didn't know what to expect from this story, but it sure as all hell wasn't this. Up until now I've only read romantic and adventurous tales of these two characters. Yours is the first one to trully break my heart, because it was so unexpected, but most of all because it was so heartwrenchingly exquisite.
"Don't leave me"... this single sentence is so sad because at this point in canon she has been left so often, by all the people around her. And for her to say it, now, to Natsu, when actually she's the one leaving him over and over...
I'm going to stop here because I'm making myself cry all over again thinking about it.
Just know that you are an incredibly talented writer capable of making me feel even when I don't mean too. Bravo, Satan

welp, that wasn't heart wrenching and I'm not crying. nope, not at all... nice going on tugging the heart strings. (it was a good one shot)

Okay. I began to cry somewhere along the sentence "Her lower lip trembles, and he can see her fighting back a sob..." I'm still crying. I cannot control the tears. They are just slipping from my eyes because this totally broke me. My vision is actually kind of blurred, so of there are any typos, that's the reason. I just. My god. This is terrible. And I'm still crying. It probably touched me this deeply because it remind me of my own granny, who died from alzheimer. I just wanted to tell you that you captured the pain of the people surrounding the ill person perfectly. The helplessness, the frustration, it all builds up inside of you, and you just want to scream because God, granny, I'm your granddaughter, why won't you recognize me? So yeah, all that pain, it's perfectly portrayed here. You are an amazing author.
